My next collaborative community quilt fundraiser is in the works and this year we will centre Black feminist bookshops, kinship, & a very special mobile library. Stay tuned for updates from my collaborator, researcher Ashley J. May and the Kin Folk Archive Quilt Raffle.

PLQ x Sincere Studio

Raising for a queer-led sewing non-profit and quilting bee space in Portland, OR. Quilting is for everyone and France’s studio makes sure their community has a place to begin.

All proceeds from sweatshirt & tshirt sales to the community studio. Embroidered on thrifted and new sweatshirts, inclusive size range.

2022 quilt fundraiser for Gender Nation & True Colors United

With anti-queer & trans laws on the rise in the US, places of sanctuary and identity affirmation are more important than ever for youth. We raised £6,000 to get queer books into public school libraries and fund access to safe youth housing.

Collaborators: Alice Gabb, Common Threads Press, & One Tiny Bookshop.

2021 quilt fundraiser for Land In Our Names

A community plant dyed quilt for land & racial justice raising £19,000 for a grassroots grant program administered by LION to Black growers working to brings gardens and food justice to communities in the UK.
